We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Neurologist to join our team at North Bristol NHS Trust. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in stroke care and management, with a strong background in clinical research and education.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of our Comprehensive Stroke Centre, which provides comprehensive care for patients with acute and subacute strokes. As a Senior Neurologist, you will be responsible for leading a team of medical professionals in providing high-quality patient care, conducting clinical research, and teaching medical students and junior doctors.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading a team of medical professionals in providing comprehensive care for patients with acute and subacute strokes
- Conducting clinical research and publishing papers in reputable medical journals
- Taughtiing medical students and junior doctors on stroke management and clinical research methods
Requirements
- MRCP or equivalent qualification
- Maintain Full registration with the GMC
- CCT in Neurology or Acute Medicine
