Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Project Cost Manager to join our team at Morson Talent. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of our construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and ensure timely submission of monthly client applications for payment in accordance with the contract.
- Identify, prepare, price, and agree changes with the client to ensure accurate cost management.
- Administer contracts, working closely with the commercial team to ensure compliance.
- Report monthly on cost/value reconciliation to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Negotiate and agree final accounts with the client to ensure timely payment.
- Support the project manager in preparing and presenting the monthly contract review to senior management.
- Manage payment and commercial aspects of suppliers/sub-contractors.
- Provide support and advice to the project team to ensure effective cost management.
- Identify areas to improve margin and implement cost-saving initiatives.
- Participate in project meetings and produce progress reports to ensure transparency.
- Support the bid team in responding to ITT requests to ensure accurate commercial management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and quality standards.

Requirements
