Job Description:

This role requires a Senior Building Safety Manager to lead the compliance function and health and safety team at Sutton Housing Partnership. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience of operating at a senior level in building safety and compliance functions, with effective leadership and management skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To uphold the values, behaviours, and leadership expectations of Sutton Housing Partnership at all times.
  • Line management for key staff members, including the Head of Compliance & Engineering, Fire Safety Surveyor, Asbestos Safety Surveyor, and Health & Safety Manager.
  • Compliance with statutory, regulatory, and Approved Code of Practice requirements associated with building safety and the compliance function.
  • Leading on the implementation of new framework contracts for delivery.
  • Overseeing building inspection programmes.
  • Providing accurate, reliable building safety and compliance data and systems to inform safe homes for residents.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Demonstrable experience of operating at a senior level in building safety and compliance functions.
  • Effective leadership and management of multi-discipline teams.
  • Successful track record in managing change and delivering material service improvements.
  • Developing and implementing building safety resident engagement strategies.
  • Collaborating with other teams to deliver required performance outputs.
Estimated Salary:

£65,000 - £85,000 per annum, depending on experience.
