About the Role

The primary purpose of this role is to deliver high-quality dental care to priority groups in a variety of settings. The post-holder will be responsible for providing a wide range of primary dental care services, including routine check-ups, fillings, extractions, and other treatments as necessary. They will also be expected to maintain accurate patient records, adhere to departmental protocols, and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.

In addition to clinical responsibilities, the successful candidate will be required to support the Head of Dental Services in maintaining health and safety standards within the department. This includes identifying risks, reporting incidents, and taking appropriate action to minimize harm.

Key Requirements
  • A Bachelor of Dental Surgery or equivalent qualification, with full registration with the General Dental Council.
  • Experience of working in a community dental service, preferably in a UK-based salaried primary care dental service.
  • Ability to use electronic dental patient records systems.
