Salary: The estimated annual salary for this role is approximately £32,640 to £40,800 depending on experience and location.
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Inventory Controller to join our team at GXO Logistics, Inc. As an Inventory Controller, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, investigating and resolving discrepancies, and coordinating stock transfers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inventory checks and counts to ensure accuracy
- Analyze transaction history in the WMS to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies
- Coordinate and monitor automated stock transfers to optimize inventory levels
- Provide administrative support for stock and order queries, ensuring timely and accurate updates
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good attention to detail and analytical skills
- Able to learn and adapt to new systems and processes
- Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is highly desirable
- Ability to operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including Reach Truck and Scissor Lift, once fully trained
