Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Cleaning Supervisor at North Lanarkshire Council. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the cleaning of our school premises, ensuring they are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the work of cleaning staff to ensure efficient and effective delivery of cleaning services
- Monitor and maintain the quality of cleaning services, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and rotas to ensure optimal use of resources
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of facilities management services
- Contribute to the development and implementation of health and safety policies and procedures
Requirements
- Previous supervisory experience in a cleaning or facilities management role
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to problem-solve and think critically
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
