Job Title: Chinook Mechanic

M&E Global Resources is seeking a skilled Chinook Mechanic to join our team in Illesheim, Germany.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex military equipment and aircraft for UK and US contractors. As a Chinook Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on the desired aircraft, ensuring it is in top working condition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Minimum 3 years' experience working on the desired aircraft
  • Thorough knowledge of aircraft mechanical component troubleshooting, repair procedures, and replacement of parts
  • Broad knowledge of aircraft sheet metal/structural modifications and repair
  • Basic knowledge of electrical theory and a thorough knowledge of aircraft unique tools
  • Working knowledge of technical publications and logistics information systems
  • Able to prioritise workloads to maintain schedules on assigned projects and lead teams through complex aircraft relevant tasks
  • Participate in maintenance test flights and operation checks as required
  • Inspect all required aeronautical type maintenance performed by mechanics

We are offering a competitive salary, a 12-month rolling contract, and a range of benefits including a sign-on bonus, potential for overtime and TDY pay, annual completion bonus, assistance with sourcing accommodation, holiday entitlement, and all tools included on this contract.
