Physiotherapy Support Worker

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team at Southern Health and Social Care Trust. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in supporting patients with their physiotherapy needs.
About the RoleThis is a Band 3 Part-time position, with an estimated salary range of £24,907 - £30,615 per annum, depending on experience. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in various settings across Belfast Trust, including hospitals and community clinics.
Key Responsibilities- To assist qualified physiotherapists with patient assessments, treatment planning, and delivery of interventions.
- To support patients with their mobility, transfers, and exercises.
- To maintain accurate records and contribute to the development of patient care plans.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. A strong understanding of patient safety and infection control practices is also essential.
