Care Manager for Young Adults in Supported Living

We are seeking an experienced Care Manager to lead a supported living home for 16-18 year olds in Southport. This role is ideal for individuals who have a passion for working with young people and providing them with the support they need to thrive.

**Job Summary:**

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of staff and ensuring that all residents receive high-quality care and support. They will work closely with the local authority and other stakeholders to ensure that the needs of each resident are met.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Oversee the day-to-day running of the supported living home, including managing staff rotas and ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently.

- Develop and implement individualised care plans for each resident, taking into account their unique needs and goals.

- Work closely with the local authority and other stakeholders to ensure that the needs of each resident are met and that the home is compliant with all relevant regulations.

- Recruit, train, and supervise a team of staff to provide high-quality care and support to residents.

- Manage the budget for the home and ensure that all resources are used effectively.

**Requirements:**

- A qualification in social care or a related field (not essential but preferred)

- Experience of working with young people in a supported living environment (essential)

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Strong organisational and time management skills

- Ability to manage a budget and make financial decisions
