Ecologist Leader

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of ecologists, driving business growth, and delivering high-quality projects that make a positive impact on the environment.

• Lead and mentor a team of ecologists, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
• Develop and implement business growth strategies, identifying new opportunities and building relationships with clients.
• Oversee the coordination of ecological surveys and assessments, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of results.
• Prepare and present reports, including EcIAs, BNG reports, EPS licenses, Habitat Regulation Assessments, and Protected Species Reports.
• Provide expert ecological advice to clients, producing budget quotes and tenders, and maintaining business relationships.
• Stay up-to-date with current UK policy and legislation, training, and industry developments, ensuring your own professional growth and the success of the team.

• Significant experience in ecology, preferably in a consultancy setting.
• Full membership of CIEEM.
• Relevant project management experience.
• Ability to train and mentor team members, supporting their professional growth.
• Collaborative working style, with the ability to work effectively within the team and with other branches of the company.
• Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle for travel between offices and sites.
