About the Role

Legal & General is seeking an experienced Pension Communications Specialist to join our award-winning DC Team, creating and implementing communication plans and campaigns for workplace pension clients.

This role involves presenting to and engaging with members, educating them on their pension savings and options, and meeting face-to-face at various locations to provide support and guidance in person.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing and delivering highly effective workplace pension communication plans for a specified portfolio of clients.
  • Working with the Workplace Member Communications team to maximize the impact and quality of multi-channel communications and support LGIM's business growth and retention objectives.
  • Collaborating with the Client Relationship Management team to coordinate and deliver successful face-to-face activity with pension scheme members.
  • Utilizing client and member feedback, along with market knowledge, to continuously evolve client communication plans and face-to-face activity.
  • Maintaining a thorough understanding of L&G DC pensions proposition and processes, staying abreast of legislative developments and market activity to discuss relevant topics with clients and members.
  • Maximizing cost-effectiveness and employer satisfaction by implementing best practices in all aspects of communication development and delivery.
  • Ensuring all activities consider the fair treatment of end customers.

Requirements:

  • Broad understanding of different media, audiences, and their needs for effective communications.
  • Experience and knowledge of DC product solutions and marketplace.
  • Proven track record of project and stakeholder management, including delivery.
  • Corporate client relationship management experience in a product provider, asset manager, or EBC/significant intermediary.
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills, with previous client-facing meeting and presentational experience, as well as the ability to articulate and convey information clearly in writing and in person.
  • Professional qualifications related to the role are desirable but not essential, such as marketing qualifications and technical pension qualifications.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits, including a generous pension contribution, life assurance, private medical insurance, and at least 25 days holiday, plus public holidays.
