Key Responsibilities

The Health and Safety Manager will be responsible for leading the development of our health and safety strategy, implementing policies, procedures, and training programs. You will work closely with staff across our organisation to promote a positive health and safety culture and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key duties include:

  • Enhancing patient care through the delivery of our quality and health and safety agenda;
  • Providing leadership and professional advice to staff, senior managers, and the Board on health and safety issues;
  • Developing and implementing our Health and Safety Policy;
  • Carrying out organisation-wide risk assessments;
  • Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and Care Quality Commission standards;
  • Leading the delivery of health and safety training across the organisation;
