Role Overview
In this permanent, full-time position at Kerry Group plc's Runcorn facility, you will provide technical engineering support to the Production function under the leadership of the Engineering Manager. As a Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the Mechanical integrity of equipment by performing Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks to maximize plant availability and maintain production.

The successful candidate will operate on early and late shifts from Monday to Friday, working closely with the Production function to minimize downtime and optimize output. You will also assume responsibility for technical projects and improvement works, focusing on enhancing equipment efficiency and reducing maintenance costs.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform PPM and reactive maintenance tasks to ensure mechanical integrity and minimize downtime
- Provide technical support to the Production function to optimize output and reduce waste
- Carry out risk assessments and implement controls to minimize risk to acceptable levels
- Collaborate with the Engineering Manager to develop and implement technical projects and improvement works

Requirements
- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food industry
- Mechanical bias with proficiency in hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Expertise in fault finding within electrical systems, including weighing systems
- Familiarity with SAP is a plus
