About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Driver Trainer to join our team at Innserve Limited. As a Driver Trainer, you will play a critical role in delivering driver-related training and guidance to our road-based technicians and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead our Occupational Road Risk Management, delivering driver training and guidance to our road-based technicians and colleagues.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the business, reporting into the Health and Safety Manager.
  • Develop and deliver a combination of coaching, training, and guidance to embed positive road safety behaviours, fuel-efficient driving, and vehicle responsibility.
  • Utilize your expertise in driver training, legislation, policing, and road safety to deliver a package of initiatives based on data-driven decision making.
  • Own and report on driving performance, deliver on-road practical driver training for new and existing drivers, monitoring and evaluating effectiveness.
  • Conduct vehicle inspections, initial drug and alcohol testing, and help keep our drivers and vehicles fuel-efficient while enforcing compliance and safest behaviours.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of Occupational Road Risk.
  • Experience in Road Policing Legislation and Procedure (ideally).
  • A full UK Driving Licence.
  • Level 4 Driver Assessor qualification or similar.
  • Strong communication skills and influencing skills, including delivering training and presentations.
  • The ability to interpret, analyse, and produce data for forecasting and informed decisions.
