Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Infrastructure Project Manager to join our North, Scotland, and Northern Ireland practice, based in Glasgow. As an established Project Manager within the infrastructure sector, you will take responsibility for projects from inception through to completion. This role offers an excellent chance to develop your career and expand your experiences across a wide range of challenging and exciting projects across varied markets.

This position combines agile working from our NS&NI offices with time at client offices and sites. You will be responsible for delivering schemes to budget and programme through RIBA Stages 0-7 (or the sector equivalent) and be the main point of contact with our clients on these projects.

The successful candidate will have several years of multi-disciplinary infrastructure project delivery experience, ideally from within a consultancy environment. They will lead the project team, building, motivating, maintaining, coaching, guiding, and developing the team. Strong client-facing and customer service skills, with the ability to understand clients' requirements, are essential. The ideal candidate will also have experience of deploying various forms of construction contract, in particular NEC3 or 4 and/or bespoke forms of contract.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess:
  • Degree in Project Management, Engineering, Building Surveying, or Architectural background.
  • AAPM PMQ (or equivalent) recognised level of competence in Project Management.
  • Experience of projects or assisting the management of projects from inception to completion (RIBA Stages 0 - 7 or equivalent).
  • Strong leadership skills with experience of managing teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Sound business acumen and strong risk/commercial awareness to deliver profits.
