Executive Director Job Description

Bryn Mawr College is seeking an experienced Executive Director to lead our community development initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of successfully leading and developing teams, working with an active Board, and diversifying revenue streams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a strategic plan to guide the organization's community development initiatives.
  • Lead and manage a team of staff and volunteers to achieve organizational goals.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including community groups, funders, and politicians.
  • Oversee the planning and implementation of community development projects, including real estate development and housing counseling.
  • Develop and manage the organization's budget and financial resources.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in community development or a related field.
  • Proven track record of successful leadership and team management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
