Housing Support Worker

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Housing Support Worker to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will provide person-centered support to service users, empowering them to achieve their goals and live independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete risk assessments and maintain accurate records in line with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Support service users with their tenancies, addressing any challenges or vulnerabilities they may face.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and implement support plans that promote independence and community reintegration.

Requirements:

  • Experience supporting individuals sustain their tenancies and addressing homelessness and substance misuse.
  • Transferable skills that enable you to support vulnerable adults at risk of homelessness.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary between £24,000 (pro rata) and a desirable employee package, including 24 days of annual leave, 8 bank holidays, and ongoing training opportunities.
  • A supportive and collaborative work environment that fosters personal and professional growth.

Interview Process:

We will conduct a two-stage interview process, including a shortlisting and pre-screening stage, followed by a formal interview with the hiring manager. Please note that a current DBS on the update service and eligibility of right to work are required for this role.
