Taught Support Assistant - Special Education Setting

This temporary teaching assistant role presents an opportunity to work with a dedicated team at a Special school providing care and education to young people with severe and complex learning disabilities.

Role Summary:
- Assist qualified teachers in planning and delivering educational activities that cater to individual students' needs
- Offer one-to-one support and guidance to students with special educational needs, including those with autism
- Contribute to creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment

Essential Requirements:
- Proven experience supporting students with special needs
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, teachers, and other stakeholders
- Familiarity with relevant educational legislation and guidelines

Estimated Salary:
£25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience

DBS Check:
An enhanced DBS check will be required as part of the recruitment process
