About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our team at itecopeople as a C# Developer (C# Azure SQL). This is a 6-month contract position, working remotely or from our office in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop high-quality software applications using C# and Azure PaaS services.
  • Collaborate with the Product Owner and stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver innovative solutions.
  • Work in an Agile SCRUM team, participating in ceremonies and contributing to the development of well-designed code.
  • Develop and maintain APIs using Swagger or OpenAPI, and build applications using Azure services such as Service Bus, Functions, API Management, Logic Apps, and Data Factory.
  • Implement automated testing using Postman and create CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or YAML.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as a C# developer with a strong understanding of Object Orientation and design principles.
  • Experience working in an Agile SCRUM team and familiarity with associated ceremonies and artefacts.
  • Strong appreciation for designing good quality code and adhering to SOLID principles.
  • Experience building APIs and working with Azure PaaS services.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively in a complex environment.
