We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lecturer in Automotive to join our team at Newcastle College. As a Lecturer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality learning programs in Automotive, across various levels of further education, higher education, and apprenticeship provision.
Main Responsibilities:
- Deliver and assess high-quality learning programs in Automotive
- Undertake program leadership, tutorial, and program administration duties
- Develop and maintain industry-recognised standards in Automotive
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective program delivery
- Contribute to the development of curriculum and assessment materials
Requirements:
- Qualified to honours degree level (Level 6) or industry-recognised standard in a relevant field
- Post-16 teaching qualification and English and maths qualifications at level 2
- Proven track record of professional/vocational expertise in Automotive
- Experience of effective program leadership in FE, HE, and/or Apprenticeships
- Strong oral and written communication skills and good IT skills
