About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated professional to join our team as a Social Worker within the 16+ Team @ Infonation (The BAYS+ Service). This role will involve working in partnership with Barnardo's to provide a seamless and tailored response to the needs of young people (aged between 16 and 25) who are under Child in Need, Child Protection, Looked After, and Care Leaver arrangements.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality social work services to young people and their families, including assessment, planning, and intervention.
- Work collaboratively with other agencies and professionals to ensure a coordinated response to the needs of young people.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with young people, their families, and other stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote the well-being and safety of young people.
Requirements
- Good knowledge of statutory roles within Child Protection and the responsibilities of the Local Authority towards Looked After Children and Care Leavers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
