**Job Description:** The Academic Representation Specialist role requires a detail-oriented and proactive individual to maintain and develop the Academic Representation structure. This includes promoting transparency and integrity within our democratic structures and working closely with our elected officers to strengthen the student voice.

A strong understanding of university academic structures and processes is essential, as well as experience in project development and management, training delivery, and office administration. Candidates with relevant experience or job titles may also be considered for this role.

We are the University's Student Union, independent from the University. Our vision is that every student loves their time at Southampton. We offer a range of benefits, including 24 days' holiday per annum, six closure holiday days during Easter and Christmas, eight bank holidays, and a defined contributions pension scheme where we contribute 10%.
