Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Real Estate Asset Management Specialist to join our team at Ares Management Corporation.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering asset level business and repositioning plans across European jurisdictions and asset classes. This will include:

  • Developing and implementing asset management strategies to drive value growth and optimize portfolio performance.
  • Oversight of third-party operating partners, property management, and other external advisors related to the portfolio.
  • Managing the annual budget process and ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to develop strategic asset level plans, including reforecasting and quarterly distribution recommendations.
  • Liaising with property appraisers on the quarterly valuation process and reviewing methodology and validating outputs.
  • Assisting with liquidity events, including refinancings and disposals.
  • Supporting acquisition teams with due diligence efforts performed during the acquisition phase.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • A minimum of three years direct experience in asset or transaction management.
  • Excellent numerical reasoning skills, including proficiency in Excel.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to form effective relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel across Europe.
  • Fluency in English, with additional language skills in German, French, or Spanish being an advantage.
Compensation and Benefits

This is a highly competitive role that offers a salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and opportunities for professional development.
