About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team at Cambridge Regional College, Huntingdon Campus. As a Catering Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing excellent customer service to our clients and ensuring the smooth operation of our food service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve food and beverages to customers in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Prepare and present food to a high standard, as supported by the Kitchen Manager
  • Process payments and maintain accurate financial records
  • Assist with monthly stocktakes and ensure accurate inventory management
  • Restock goods and maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Follow health and safety procedures and participate in training as required

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but not essential
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
