About the Role

Forth Ports Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Commercial Lawyer to join our team. As a key member of our legal department, you will play a crucial role in providing commercially focused legal advice on commercial contracts with customers, suppliers, and other key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert legal advice on commercial contracts, ensuring alignment with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including those with customers, suppliers, and partners.
  • Assist with company secretarial duties, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Support with regulatory and compliance matters, staying up-to-date with relevant legislation and industry developments.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and mitigate potential risks and opportunities.

What We're Looking For

  • Qualified from any UK jurisdiction with a strong background in commercial law.
  • Minimum 2 years of PQE from private practice or in-house, with a focus on commercial or corporate law.
  • Commercial property experience is an advantage, but not essential.
  • A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, able to provide clear and concise advice to stakeholders at all levels.
  • An independent worker with the ability to prioritize a varied workload and meet deadlines.
  • Full UK working rights are essential.
