About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the leadership and management of Ryanair's Engineering Line Stations in Manchester, Liverpool, and Leeds Bradford airports. Key duties will include:

  • Management of Routine Maintenance, Aircraft Incidents/AOG's and Third-Party Liaison
  • Manpower planning, recruitment, retention, and staff performance management
  • Ensuring appropriate spares and equipment are available at each location
  • Budgeting, invoicing, and negotiation/management of contracts with external suppliers/companies
  • Conducting regular base visits, ensuring staff welfare and regulatory compliance
  • Investigating Maintenance Delays, Engineering Safety Reports, and Non-Compliances, implementing strategies to prevent recurrence

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Excellent time management, with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities and effectively communicate progress to Senior Management
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience in managing people, across various shifts and skill sets within aviation or engineering
  • Full computer literacy with experience of Microsoft packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet Explorer)
  • Unrestricted right-to-work in the UK, a valid Full-UK Driving Licence, and a willingness to travel
