About the Role

As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering safe and effective treatment to patients within our surgical cancer pathways. You will work closely with clinicians, nurse specialists, and finance teams to optimise patient care and ensure seamless transfer of care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide complex pharmaceutical care for patients with surgical cancer, utilising your prescribing skills and expertise.
  • Develop and implement medicines policies and procedures for the specialty, ensuring best practice and patient safety.
  • Train and educate pharmacy staff and other healthcare professionals on clinical pharmacy services and medicines optimisation.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
  • Diploma/MSc in clinical pharmacy or equivalent qualification/experience.
  • Wide post-registration experience in hospital pharmacy, including delivering clinical pharmacy services to a specialty.
  • Experience of developing and implementing medicines policies and procedures for a specialty.
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of £55,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional development and career progression.
