Computer Vision Developer

We are seeking a talented Computer Vision Developer to join our team at the University of Oxford. As part of the Morphocam project, you will be working on developing and releasing machine learning/AI tools to enable precise metrics measurements on camera trap images of wild animals.
The successful post-holder will be responsible for researching, adapting, and exploiting existing deep learning models and frameworks to build an efficient and user-friendly processing pipeline. Extensive experience in machine learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch/TensorFlow) and ML-ops for scaling systems into production is required.
You will work closely with field biologists to understand their needs and problems and develop software solutions that meet their requirements. In addition to your technical expertise, you should possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills. A strong understanding of software engineering principles and best practices is essential.
