Caregiver Specialist

At Danforth Care Homes, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Care Support Worker to join our team. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our residents.

We are looking for an experienced Caregiver Specialist who can deliver high-quality care to our residents. You will be responsible for providing emotional support, assistance with daily living tasks, and promoting independence and dignity.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of older adults' needs and be able to communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.

Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience and location.

Your Responsibilities:

• Provide person-centred care to residents, responding to their individual needs and preferences.
• Assist residents with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
• Support residents with medication management and administer medications as required.
• Engage residents in activities and hobbies that promote mental and physical well-being.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.

Requirements:

• NVQ Level 3/Diploma in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
• Experience of working with older adults and their families.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
