Job Title: Qualified Social Worker Early Help

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Qualified Social Worker to join our Early Help Team in Liverpool City Council. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting vulnerable children and families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide robust initial and final management oversight to Early Help referrals received in the Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) and via the Team Around the Setting (TAS).
  • Make decisions based on the Tameside threshold of need document.
  • Support the decision making in regards to referrals to Early Help and ensuring the best outcomes for children, young people and families.
  • Responsible for the supervision of Early Help Advisers.
  • Allocate and manage the caseloads of the Early Help Advisers ensuring that timescales and key performance indicators in place are adhered to.
Requirements:
  • Social Work Degree or equivalent.
  • Social Work England registered.
  • Enhanced DBS.
