Job Description

Job Title: HGV Driver

Job Type: Permanent

Location: Exeter

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled HGV driver to join our team at GB Recruitment. As a HGV driver, you will play a vital role in our distribution service, working in a two-person team to deliver goods to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive a 7.5T HGV in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
  • Work alongside a driver's mate to carry out home deliveries, including the installation of white goods and heavy lifting.
  • Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules, and vehicle regulations.

Requirements:

  • A valid HGV Class 2 Driving Licence (C) or 7.5T (C1) and Driver CPC Qualification.
  • Physical fitness, as heavy lifting and installation of white goods will be required.
  • New passes welcome to apply.
