Quality Assurance Engineer for Electronics

In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with an external consultant to oversee the company's quality assurance frameworks, ensuring that our products and services meet both customer expectations and industry standards.

This position also emphasizes a commitment to continuous improvement while adhering to all internal operational protocols across various departments, thereby maintaining our esteemed global brand image.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and uphold quality certifications, including ISO9001, ISO14001, and various hazardous area product approvals.
  • Ensure timely progress of audits, non-conformances, and equipment calibrations.
  • Supervise the creation, modification, implementation, and upkeep of standards for quality operational methods, processes, systems, and procedures.
  • Assess current standards and define quality and reliability expectations for finished products.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of HNC or equivalent in engineering or a related discipline.
  • Trained auditor with CQI-IRCA ISO 9001:2015 or equivalent certification.
  • Level 5 qualification or higher in Quality Assurance.

Experience:

  • At least 5 years of progressive experience in quality management.
  • Comprehensive understanding of manufacturing quality processes and protocols.
  • Familiarity with Design Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (DFMEA).
  • Knowledge of quality management and enhancement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement, TQM, and Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Experience with SAP/ERP systems is preferred.
