We are seeking an experienced Materials Handling Specialist to join our team in the Hampshire area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and hydraulics, with experience working on forklifts, plant equipment, powered access equipment, agricultural machinery, motor vehicles, or industrial cleaners.


Key responsibilities will include finding, diagnosing, and rectifying faults on Linde forklifts and other material handling equipment at customer sites, as well as undertaking preventative maintenance tasks.


The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have a positive attitude. They will also need to be IT literate and hold a full UK driving licence.


We offer a competitive salary of £45,000-60,000 per annum, paid door to door, and the support of a valuable team. Benefits include a 40-hour working week, company van and fuel card, 25 days annual leave, and a company pension scheme with employer contribution.

Job Description:


The Materials Handling Specialist will be responsible for finding, diagnosing, and rectifying faults on Linde forklifts and other material handling equipment at customer sites. This will involve working closely with customers to understand their needs and preferences, and providing tailored solutions to meet those needs.


Required Skills and Qualifications:



  • Mechanical engineering experience
  • Electrical engineering experience
  • Hydraulics experience
  • NVQ level 3 qualification (or equivalent)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Positive attitude
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing needs
