KBR, a global provider of professional services and technologies, is seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join its Sustainable Technology Solutions Integrated Solutions business unit. This team is responsible for engineering and project delivery across the hydrocarbons and energy transition sectors.

The successful candidate will oversee the financial operations of a broad, global portfolio of engineering projects, focusing on project billing, accounting, forecasting, and financial controls. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, high-performing team that operates across multiple locations, including EMEA and APAC.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Management of working capital through an excellent understanding of the order to cash process
  • Installation and maintenance of sound technical accounting practices, including proactive identification, evaluation, escalation, and conclusion/documentation of complex and/or judgmental areas in compliance with US GAAP

The Finance Manager will work closely with leadership and functions of projects, including commercial, project controls, and supply chain, to enable project objectives to be achieved. Additionally, they will support the coordination of audit requests and deliverables, and own the business unit balance sheet and walk-forwards.

Requirements include experience working within the day-to-day financial operations of an organisation, technical and practical experience with an ability to independently problem-solve. The ideal candidate will have the ability to coach and mentor teams, excellent commercial acumen, and highly organised with a drive to complete projects.

They will also possess strong knowledge and understanding of planning and ERP systems and data, with the ability to extract relevant data and interpret for analysis and communication. A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, and professional accounting qualifications (ACCA, ACA, or equivalent), are required. Experience in financial operations, project accounting, and public accounting is also essential.
