Leisure Team Member

Aberdeenshire Council seeks an enthusiastic Leisure Team Member to join our team in ensuring the safe operation of recreational facilities.
We are looking for someone who can work effectively with colleagues and provide a high standard of customer relations, supporting the development and improvement of service areas.
The role involves completing the NPLQ qualification and demonstrating a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement.
This position is regulated work with Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act, and successful applicants will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check.
As a Leisure Team Member, you will be responsible for undertaking manual handling on a daily basis and adhering to health and safety procedures. Additionally, you will need to demonstrate your ability to swim 50m in under 60 seconds using the front crawl and backstroke.
In return for your hard work and dedication, we offer a competitive salary of around £20,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
