We are currently recruiting a freelance interpreter to work within various settings including the NHS, Local Authorities, Police, Probation and other public and private organisations.

As a freelance interpreter, you will interpret for people using legal, health and local government services, checking the non-English speakers understanding after each sentence, and liaising between the service user and service provider.

Requirements:

  • Fluent in English and another language
  • All applicants must have the right to work in the UK
  • You must be aged 21 or over
  • A formal qualification such as a Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI), Community Interpreting, NRPSI, CIOL, ITI registered or a Degree in Translation/Interpreting/Languages is advantageous
