About This Opportunity


We are seeking a motivated and ambitious individual to join our team as a physiotherapy apprentice at the West London NHS Trust.


The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with our experienced physiotherapists and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.


Key Responsibilities



  • To work under the supervision of a qualified physiotherapist to provide client-centred physiotherapy services to patients with complex needs.
  • To support the physiotherapist in implementing intervention plans aimed at helping clients maintain and regain independence in functional abilities and promoting clients' safety through participation in everyday activities.
  • To complete a degree-level apprenticeship in physiotherapy and gain full registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) upon qualifying.

Requirements


To be considered for this role, you will need to have:



  • A minimum of 5 GCSEs graded 9-4/A*-C, including English Language and Mathematics, or equivalent qualifications.
  • An ABB level qualification in A-levels (excluding General Studies).
  • A DDD level qualification in a health and social care-related diploma.
  • Previous experience in a relevant health or social care setting is desirable.
  • Awareness of the impact of poor health on overall well-being, awareness of the positive impact of activity on health and well-being, and a basic understanding of the role of physiotherapy and the core philosophy of the profession.
  • IT literacy and the ability to communicate effectively with staff at all levels, work effectively within teams, and deal with stress appropriately.
