Job Description:

A challenging opportunity has arisen for a skilled PCV/LGV/HGV Technician to join Shorterm Group, a leading provider of vehicle maintenance and repair services. Based in the Midlands, this role will involve working on modern vehicles, including battery electric, hydrogen fuel cell, diesel and diesel hybrid drivelines.

The successful candidate will have experience in the maintenance and repair of buses or heavy goods vehicles, with a strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems. A time-served technician with a recognised qualification or equivalent experience is required.

This is a full-time position, with a 37-hour work week typically between 05:00-20:00. A company van will be provided, fully equipped with tools and parts as required.

Key responsibilities include ensuring maximum vehicle availability for customers throughout the Midlands, diagnosing problems and completing repairs while being health and safety conscious, and maintaining accurate records of work completed.

In return, you can expect a competitive salary of £45,000-£55,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus additional benefits such as a generous reward structure, bonus potential, company pension, annual leave entitlement, and an Employee Assistance Programme.
