Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to provide individualized support for students with ADHD, helping them to remain engaged and focused during lessons. The successful candidate will develop and implement structured learning activities that cater to diverse learning styles and promote positive behaviour.

The role involves collaborating closely with teaching staff and the SENCO to adapt classroom strategies and resources ensuring that each student's unique needs are met. You will also monitor student progress and provide feedback to educators contributing to the continuous improvement of teaching methods and interventions.

This position requires a strong understanding of ADHD and experience working with students who have similar educational needs. A clear DBS check is required to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all students. Strong communication skills, patience, and a compassionate approach to supporting diverse learners are essential qualities for this role.
