About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Administrator to join our team based in Newry. The successful candidate will have strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Main Responsibilities
  • Promptly convert indirect requisitions into indirect purchase orders within the set KPI time limit & issuing purchase orders to suppliers
  • Act as a first point of contact for general indirect procurement queries for the Division
  • Support the general business and requisitioner community in providing necessary training, helping them to understand the indirect procurement process and how to use the associated systems

The ideal candidate will have a minimum 2 years administration experience in an office environment, IT proficient with the use and demonstrable experience of using Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years administration experience in an office environment
  • IT proficient with the use and demonstrable experience of using Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Supplier management experience
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal - with the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to manage and prioritise a busy workload with a high level of accuracy
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team

The salary for this role is £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
