About the Role
As Chief Strategy Officer for Transformation, you will lead the Strategy and Planning team within the Strategy Policy and External Communications Directorate. Your primary focus will be on developing and delivering effective strategic plans, ensuring alignment with the organisation's vision and objectives.
You will play a key role in shaping the future direction of Companies House, driving transformational change, and implementing sweeping reforms arising from the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act 2023 (ECCTA). Your expertise will be invaluable in monitoring and evaluating progress, identifying potential barriers, and reporting on strategic objectives to the Board and Executive level.
This high-profile role requires collaboration and engagement across the organisation and beyond, necessitating strong relationships with stakeholders, including government departments and external bodies.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver strategic plans that drive transformational change within Companies House.
- Lead the Strategy and Planning team, empowering them to achieve their full potential.
- Maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders, including government departments and external bodies.
- Monitor and evaluate progress towards strategic objectives, identifying potential barriers and reporting on progress to the Board and Executive level.
- Work closely with the Data directorate and other teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of annual business plans and corporate strategy.
- Track changes in the external environment, horizon-scanning to ensure strategic assumptions are factored into planning.
