We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Relief Care and Support Assistant to join our team at McCarthy Stone's Roswell Court estate in Exmouth, east Devon. As a Relief Care and Support Assistant, you will provide exceptional care and support to our residents, enabling them to live their later life to the fullest.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality individual care to residents, promoting their independence and well-being.
- Provide housekeeping and domestic support across the general estate, including apartment cleans.
- Support and encourage residents to participate in a wide range of activities that promote their health and wellbeing.
- Assist residents with booking appointments, arranging transport, and escorting them on visits as needed.
- Help residents with their shopping and provide general support with daily tasks.
- You will be a warm, friendly, and approachable individual with a passion for making a difference in the lives of older people.
- You will have a strong understanding of the needs of older adults and be able to provide tailored support to meet their individual needs.
- You will be a team player, able to work collaboratively with colleagues to provide a high-quality service to residents.
- You will have a strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service and be able to build strong relationships with residents, their families, and other stakeholders.
- A competitive hourly rate of £11.58, plus additional pay for evening and weekend hours.
