About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Warehouse Operative to join our team at Hovis in Avonmouth, Bristol. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our warehouse, including the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the daily activities within the despatch department, including minimising waste and ensuring order fulfillment of 100%.
  • Work collaboratively with the Supply Chain FLM to achieve set targets and objectives.
  • Ensure the warehouse function is completed to the highest standard, with a focus on quality, safety, and efficiency.
  • Operate within a fast-paced warehouse environment, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and communication.
Requirements
  • Previous warehouse experience is desirable, but not essential.
  • A FLT licence is desirable, but in-house training will be provided.
  • Flexibility, good attendance, and good timekeeping are essential.
  • A positive attitude, with a can-do approach and a willingness to learn and develop.
