Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Education Leader to join our team as a Year 3 Teacher at a remarkable school in Hackney. This is an exciting opportunity to develop well-rounded confident pupils through a supportive pastoral environment.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the pastoral care of children taking their first steps in Key stage 2, promoting teamwork and cultivating a conducive learning environment. They will also be teaching the Key stage 2 curriculum to groups of children while focusing on each individual child's learning targets, encouraging their strengths and improving their weaknesses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide effective pastoral care to children in Key stage 2.
  • Teach the Key stage 2 curriculum to groups of children, with a focus on individual learning targets.
  • Further develop maths ability by introducing fractions, statistics, and geometry.
  • Help children develop their writing ability by creating plots, characters, and settings for stories.
  • Keep track of children's progress and report back to parents as necessary.

  • Our school is a 2-form entry school located in a lovely residential area of Hackney.

Requirements:

Estimated Salary: £30,000 - £45,000 per annum
