Job Title: Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant

Clarus Education Ltd is seeking a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a vibrant Primary School in the Borough of Greenwich.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant to support a small group of pupils with SEMH needs. The successful candidate will work closely with the teaching staff to provide individualized support and create a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support a small group of up to 4 children with SEMH difficulties
  • Work with children on a 1:1 and small group basis to promote social and academic progress
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to develop and implement individualized support plans
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
  • Graduate degree from a reputable University
  • Strong academic background, including A levels and GCSEs
  • Experience working with children with SEN/SEMH is desirable
  • Passionate, positive, and confident individual with excellent communication skills
  • Registered DBS or willingness to apply for one
