We are looking for a confident and friendly Sales Assistant to join our team. As a Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for interacting with customers face-to-face, providing first-class service, and maintaining excellent customer service. You will also be expected to process sales and input orders into our system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Input orders into the system for collection and delivery
  • Identify sales opportunities to grow existing customer accounts
  • Generate sales through contact with prospective customers
  • Respond efficiently to queries with appropriate information on products and services
  • Manage designated accounts
  • Interact with customers and process sales quickly, accurately and efficiently
  • Initiate sales leads in order to promote product sales and increase annual turnover, in line with sales targets
  • Generate sales through contact with prospective customers, acting as a sales representative when required

We are looking for applicants who have the following skills:

  • Strong customer service experience, ideally within a telesales environment
  • Great telephone manners and email writing skills
  • Ability to engage with customers on the phone in a friendly and professional way
  • Strong computer skills and experience working with Dynamics AX
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK
  • A good standard of spoken English
  • Great communication and people skills
  • A friendly, positive, problem-solving nature
  • Confidence to handle cash in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge and experience of working in a frontline job
  • Computer literacy (including Microsoft Word and Excel)
