About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Transformation Solutions Architect to join our team in London. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to shape and lead the technical design of new products within the Workday platform.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of creating innovative solutions for a thriving product ecosystem, with a focus on customer satisfaction and delivery of complex technology projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the technical design and implementation of custom software applications using Workday Extend platform.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, assess their needs, and manage expectations to deliver excellent results.
  • Design, estimate, and build custom software applications with extensive experience in Extend.
  • Expert knowledge in web service technologies (REST and SOAP) and ability to lead teams in delivering complex technology solutions.
  • Exceptional understanding and experience in Workday and SaaS delivery methodologies and models.
  • Translate problem statements into IT software requirements through exceptional consulting skills.
  • Manage conflicting demands and perform effectively in complex situations, including negotiation, conflict resolution, and relationship management.
  • Able to travel to customer sites in the same region and occasionally out-of-region.
Desirable Skills
  • Excellent leadership skills, including delegation, motivation, leading, attracting, and developing staff.
  • Proficiency in AWS platform and AI technologies.
People Management

Your role will involve managing people. Where you have direct reports, your responsibilities may include:

  • Agreeing, setting, and reviewing goals aligned to organisational objectives.
  • Providing support for goal achievement.
  • Reviewing and refining goals for relevance.
  • Reviewing performance against goals and providing feedback.
  • Conducting regular 1:1 meetings and requesting feedback.
  • Pursuing career paths and progression for yourself and your team members.
  • Reviewing weekly workload forecasting and utilisation.
  • Actively being involved in recruitment and interviews.
  • Reviewing attrition and retention metrics.
