We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Jenrick Engineering. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facility and retail premises in Derbyshire. This is a unique opportunity to work on a variety of projects and develop your skills in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to the projects team and respond to breakdowns in a timely and efficient manner
• Follow Engineering Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and complete scheduled PPM's as they arrive
• Drive Continuous Improvement (CI) activities and support initiatives to improve efficiencies
• Ensure that the Retail Maintenance Manager is made fully aware of any maintenance issues that will significantly impact performance of the business
• Focus on a proactive approach towards manufacturing to minimize the potential downtime of equipment
• Provide scheduled cover throughout the business to support production plans and minimize the requirement for call outs

Requirements:

• Apprentice-trained Maintenance Engineer with a bias towards electrical maintenance
• Electrical qualifications, including 17th/18th edition as a minimum
• Experience of working within a food manufacturing business previously would be advantageous
• Strong communicator with the ability to work within a team and alone
• Full UK driving license
