Job Description

Role Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join our team at Benjamin Edwards LTD. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing and financial accounts, challenging existing processes, and improving efficiency and controls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and financial accounts for the business, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Challenge existing processes and methods to improve efficiency and enhance controls, reducing the time taken to close each month and year end.
  • Manage Accounts Payable and Cash Flow forecasting, providing key business decision-making insights.
  • Participate in ad-hoc project work, analyzing performance and providing recommendations to the Board.
  • Build relationships with senior stakeholders, discussing financial information and providing expert advice.
  • Take responsibility for the planning and execution of annual audit cycles, working with external auditors.
  • Develop, lead, and mentor a small finance team, increasing department capabilities and supporting Personal Development Plans.

Requirements:

  • Experienced Financial Controller with a desire to develop leadership skills.
  • Previous experience managing a finance team, with a proven track record of success.
  • Direct experience using ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
