Delivering Excellence in Water Distribution

As our Operational Task Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in driving the repair and maintenance team responsible for Yorkshire Waters' clean water distribution system. Your key responsibilities will include managing the daily schedule of works, setting up compliant live sites, and demonstrating exceptional customer engagement skills. It is essential to have a good understanding of health & safety procedures and to check and report vehicle defects or maintenance.

To excel in this role, you will need to be someone who is dedicated to safety procedures and has a strong track record of managing teams, setting up live sites compliant with legislation, and engaging with customers effectively. Working with a team of skilled professionals, you will be responsible for maintaining Yorkshire Waters' clean water distribution system.

The Key Requirements...

  • Good knowledge of Street works and the red book.
  • Full clean UK driving licence essential.
  • Experience of working in the water industry on R&M contracts.
  • Good understanding of how to read safe dig plans and experience of excavating within the highway.
  • Basic I.T. skills
